Privacy Policy mlab, Inc. (the company hereafter) is based on the following policies and guarantees that it will manage the personal information appropriately. 1. Regarding Definition of Personal Information The company defines personal information as described below on the basis of ‘laws related to the protection of the personal information’ as set up by the country. 1 Information related to a surviving individual such as name, date of birth, gender, occupation, telephone number, residential address, etc. 2 Information which correlates the user ID, mail address, password, individual identification number (IMEI), credit card information, etc. in the services being offered with a certain individual. 2. Regarding Access Log as well as Cookies The company obtains cookies and access logs so as to offer better services. These can not be seen as personal information since individuals cannot be specified in these elemental substances, but are recognized to be personal information which correlates other information with each other. It is possible to turn off the cookies from the browser settings. 3. Regarding Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) of Personal Information The company may use the personal information gathered for any of the following objectives. 1 To deliver information which is judged to be beneficial for the guests (customer) 2 To deliver notice of services such as maintenance information, etc. administered by the company 3 To be able to respond to the requested contents 4 For recruitment activity and concomitant work associated with it 4. Regarding Incidence of Change and Validity of the Acceptable Use Policy (AUC) of the Personal Information Basically, the company will not change the intended use of the personal information, but if by any chance necessity to make changes arises, then the company will make efforts to either notify or officially announce without any delays. It is assumed that the contents after the change will be applicable from the date on which the user has been notified. 5. Regarding Furnishing and Disclosure of Personal Information to the Third Party Any personal information once provided to the company will not be furnished or disclosed to the third party. However, the below mentioned cases are excluded. 1 In case of a received consent from a guest/customer 2 In case of being entrusted with work for information handling 3 In case the company has entrusted an affiliated company with the packaging, delivering and forwarding processes 4 In case of disclosing the personal information within the scope of Acceptable Use Policy (AUC) to a subsidiary company, etc. 5 In case of being disclosed due to circumstances where an individual guest can not be identified 6 In case of being deemed necessary by the company in accordance with the law 7 In case the company believes that the guest is causing disadvantages to a third party 8 In case of being deemed necessary by the company in the interest of the guest(s) or the public 9 In case of difficult situations where it has to obtain consent of the guest with an objective to protect human life, the body or the property 10 In case the mechanism of a country or a local public body or a person who is entrusted with these cooperates to execute actions in accordance with the Laws and Ordinances, and in case obtaining the consent of the guest is causing hindrance to accomplish that action 6. Regarding Requests for Disclosure, Correction or Deletion of the Personal Information The company will respond without any delays in case there is a request for disclosure, correction or deletion of the personal information from the guest. However, it is set that a part or the entire information cannot be disclosed in case it comes under the purview of the below mentioned. 1 In case there is a possibility of causing damage of any kind either to the guest or the third party 2 In case there is a threat of significant damage to the company 7. Regarding Limitation for the Collection of Personal Information The company will gather only the personal information of bare essentials and make no efforts to handle personal information over and above what is required. 8. Regarding the Management System of Personal Information The company recognizes the importance of protecting the personal information with regards to the working staff engaged in the work to handle personal information in order to prevent the personal information from incidences such as revelation, loss, tampering or manipulations, destruction, etc. and the company shall endeavor to protect the personal information appropriately.
